How does Ortega Pulse protect my information?
Ortega Pulse is designed to collect only the information reasonably needed to provide your service. Protected customer features, where available, use account authentication and access controls designed to restrict unauthorized access. Ortega Pulse does not need your passwords for Google Business Profile, social media, banking, POS, payment, or other private third-party systems in order to program normal NFC destinations or approved public links. Security practices may continue to evolve as Ortega Pulse develops.
Can another customer access my account or business information?
Where customer accounts are available, protected customer information is intended to be separated by account, and access requires appropriate authentication and authorization. Knowing another customer’s business name or email address should not by itself provide access to protected account information.
Will Ortega Pulse ever ask for my passwords?
Ortega Pulse does not need passwords for Google, social media, banking, payment systems, POS systems, or other private third-party accounts for normal NFC and public-link services. Customers should not send these passwords to Ortega Pulse. Approved public URLs and necessary business information should be used whenever possible.
What information does Ortega Pulse collect?
Ortega Pulse aims to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide the selected service, such as business contact information, branding, approved public links, and relevant service or account information. Customers should not submit sensitive information unless Ortega Pulse specifically provides an appropriate secure feature designed to receive it.
